Cedarwood Canoes

Anybody know anything about them? New Brunswick , Canada. I'm working on a big 20 foot square stern. Just wondering if theres any records of serial numbers.
Didn't think there was a number but just found one on the stem. # 5024
I know they were made roughly. nothing fancy. more like for fishing , hunting. Steel fasteners. Just a big heavy tough boat with fiberglass skin.

I own a Cedarwood Canoe made in New Brunswick; built on original Chestnut Factory Moulds. I would like to have more information about this canoe. The serial number is 151133CO101.

Thread 'Carl Jones, Cedarwood Canoes'

Carl Jones recently passed away (September 9, 1930 - November 22, 2015). Carl was formerly with Chestnut Canoe Co., and with his son Steven, acquired a number of Chestnut molds and started Cedarwood Canoes after Chestnut folded. I don't know how often Cedarwoods turn up south and west of here, but there are still quite a few of them on the water here in New Brunswick.
