173219 was assigned to a 16' Old Town Guide model with a keel. It was painted GS (Guide's Special) Green and shipped to Louisville, KY on 9/3/64.
Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. Hard to describe, but it is a lighter green than the common OT "Dark Green". It is not really bright (but, then again, either am I)
I don't have a color chart on this computer - maybe Dan or Benson will post a sample.

Just happen to have
Waterfall canoe was GS Green. I could send a piece in the mail or I could compare it to my Kirby color chart and tell.

Here it is now.
176051 in my barn is a 16' 1966 Guide with GS Green. I've attached two photos. The GS Green is flanked by Kirby's Blind Green. The Gs Green is origional as it is a one owner boat and there are no signs of any prior canvas work. ie. no extra holes. Blind green is the closest shade from the Kirby color chart. Computers being what they are you may have some color variation BUT the Blind Green can sort of set the bar.
