can you search by original owner name?

Hi,
I have an old town canoe about 60 years old that belonged to my grandfather. I can not reach it right now to check serial number. Can information be found by owners name? George Dyson Friou

Unless you can provide a closer range of dates or better yet a serial number, it would be difficult. Let us know.

You could buy your own set of the records on a set of ten CDs from http://merchandise.wcha.org/product_info.php?cPath=90_91&products_id=408 and search them yourself. The other problem is that if your grandfather purchased the canoe from an Old Town dealer then the build record will only show the dealer's name.
