Brand new old stock OT paddle

Canoe Dude
Came across this today, not too sure how old it is though....

not too sure how old it is though....

That style of decal was first used in the 1970s and is still being used today. I don't know when they stopped using those plastic bags but it was probably in the 1980s or 1990s. The problem with buying something sealed in the original packaging like this is that you will loose most of the value if you ever actually use it.

Thanx for the info sir. I'm not sure why, but I'm developing a thing for paddles. I've bought five just last month...
I think many of us collect paddles-- although we may not think we do. They are works of art, and it's difficult to pass up a cool one... and easier to find space for them than for canoes.
......And I can buy several for the price of a canoe. I expect I'll be buying and trying them out as long as I can paddle.
It gets a whole lot worse when you start making paddles... Say you make an ottertail. Then you make an ottertail, but 2" longer. Then... oh, you get the drift...
