Curious about Wooden Canoes
a little about myself i am a lineman with a power utility i inherited and old canvas canoe that had belonged to my father that had pasted away and i thought i wood rebuild it while in the process i found his old original bob special that he had purchased in the 1950s which i had paddle all my younger life trapping we use to us it spring muskrat trapping and fall trapping everything the old chestnut is in very bad condition his other canoe only has one broken rib and a cracked plank the canvas is rottening off we no longer trap i wont to use the canoes for pleasure craft the bob special was paddle in a fast water canoe race by my dad and another gentleman in the 90s where it took first place he had alway loved that canoe so it will be special for myself to rebuild it i will be looking for help thank you all
