Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
Does anyone in the wood canoe community have a wood (or otherwise) rowing shell in need of restoration or a good home? I'm in the New England area.
I have a 1940 OTCA in need of restoration that I am interested in trading for a single or double rowing shell. I have managed to accumulate several w/c boats and am willing to part with this one.
I have become enamored with the beauty of cedar skulls and want to fulfill a life long interest in rowing a sliding seat boat. Restoring an old boat and trading may be the only way I can reach this goal. Fiberglass is ok, looking for a flat water boat that can handle 160lbs.
Please feel free to move me out of this forum if this is not appropriate, figured it would be a good place to ask.
