Anyone else with a Bush canoe?

Wooden Canoes are in the Blood
I went to a house in a suburb of Toronto. The owner was at work and said "take it, it's in the driveway." I loaded it atop the car and took it to Tennessee. After thirteen years I put it in the shop. Now, after two more years, I'm fixing it. The canoe had canvas at one time. Lots of rot. Maybe the rot got worse because it sat outside under cover but that's not always dry. It's an interesting boat. I've never sailed anything with a sail that far forward. It's in the forward deck not a forward seat like most.
It was only three boards, however, two cracked and split. I've pretty well got the two decks under control. Lots of filler and splicing. Now, I'm wondering who gave it to me.
