Anyone driving to CO from General Assembly, willing to transport a canoe?

Hello,

I am the buyer of a beautiful wood-and-canvas canoe built along the Chestnut Prospector 16 lines by Stephen Lapey in Groveland, MA.

I live in Aspen, Colorado, and I am wondering if anyone from nearby will be attending the annual WCHA assembly, and subsequently driving back West; and would be able to consider transporting the canoe for me to an acceptable rendezvous point? Compensated for your time and extra gas...

Tim Sampsel lives nearby and will be able to help me but he would need to store it until September before making the return trip, so I am just poking around to see if there are any other options! Thanks for your consideration.

I think we can cover this... after Assembly, we're driving to the Chicago area, then to Colorado. Need to verify a detail or two, will PM when we know for sure...
