Wooden Canoes are in the Blood
Jean and I attended the ACBS Show in Kingston, NY on Saturday with three canoes. We met a lot of nice people, talked up the WCHA, signed up a new member and generally had a good time. Weather was a bit hot but the breeze helped. The show is always held at the Hudson River Maritime Museum which has just opened a wooden boat school. Maybe in the future I can get involved with that but working for a living really limits my free time - the curse of the drinking class.
