75th Anniversary Heritage 2002 Year of Production

I’m new here. First post.

I live in Highlands, NC and paddle on lakes on our plateau at approximately 4000’, on the eastern continental divide.

Does anyone know anything about a “heritage” model reissued in the color scheme #22? Made in 2002.

I've not found a reference to this in the catalogs from 2001 to 2003. What are the serial and hull identification numbers? This design was first introduced on the cover of the catalog as shown at https://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/covers/large-24.gif from 1924. The page at https://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/thumbnal.html estimates that about 69 of these were made between 1925 and 1935 which is an average of about 6 per year. Nice one,

Interesting, this is after they stopped keeping records on paper so a build record is probably not available.

Thanks @Benson Gray & @Todd F - Bought it from a local elder who acquired it on a $25 raffle ticket back in 2002. It’s never been in the water. I will however use it.

I wonder if the "2002 Heritage Edition" was added by the organization that raffled off the canoe? Or did OT actually install these... no record, so it's hard to guess.

It was on it from new. Spoke to the original buyer who bought two. The other has the same badge and was not raffled off.
