LOVES Wooden Canoes
I just returned from 4 days on the Noire (Black) River, I had planned to stay longer but the heat got the best of me. You can see some pictures here

I used Hap Wilsons book "Rivers of the Upper Ottawa Valley" as a guide and I had a local outfitter, Michel from Noire Expeditions shuttle me (819 778 6347, he lives out of cell range, but drives down to check messages every night)
Nice river, I brought fishing gear but was too tired to wait up for late walleye fishing. Lots of sand bars to camp on.
