Hello Stephen,
Old Town 151211 is a 20 foot AA (top) grade Guide model canoe that was completed June 1948 to January 1949. It has red Western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks/thwarts/seat frames and half ribs. Originally it was dark green. It was shipped to Pittsburg, NH, on June 21, 1949. There were two subsequent inquiries regarding this canoe; one on 4-13-76 from Portland, ME, and the other on 6-17-76 from Freeport, ME. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
