The Old Town canoe with serial number 12874 is a 16 foot long, AA grade, Charles River model with red Western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, long mahogany decks, mahogany trim, half ribs, and a keel. It was built between November, 1909 and April, 1910. The original exterior paint color was slate. It shipped on April 23rd, 1910 to Rochester, New York.
