The Old Town canoe with serial number 184244 is an 18 foot long fiberglass canoe that was built in November 1969. The original exterior paint color was dark green . It was shipped to West Haven, Connecticut on December 22, 1970. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link behind the thumbnail image attached below.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. It is an old town canoe that fits this sheet. Dark green and fiberglass. has the sticker just didn't know how old. What do you think it's worth to sell if in great condition? $300 to $400?

It's hard to say what a given canoe is worth, because of the many variables that affect price -- see

Check the Craigs Lists for "boats" for your area and neighboring areas, if you live in an area where canoes are common -- there are usually fairly lengthy listings for canoes, which could give you some idea of what canoes are selling for near you. For a fiberglass canoe in "excellent" condition, I suspect that $300-400 is not unreasonable -- maybe even a little low -- but I'm no expert on such matters.
As a WCHA member, you can run a classified add for free -- there is a section for non-wood canoes and boats.
