Recently acquired a 17ft old town tripper from a family member. im having trouble finding specific records about it. the serial number is 222991. im also looking for a new yoke and thwart for it if anyone knows of anyplace i can get cheap ones. thanks and excited to find out more info!

The parts are quality. In canoes, quality affords better returns in satisfaction over less expensive.
I defer to others about the build record though it seems made in 1991.

The scanned Old Town records stop at 210999 so none of us here have any newer information for canoes like yours. You may be able to contact the customer service department at the Old Town Canoe Company and get a copy from their paper records if they are not too busy. Please reply here if they are not able to satisfy your request. There should be a hull identification number on the starboard stern that starts with XTC and ends with a date.
