17' Canoe #1437

Curious about Wooden Canoes
Hi, I need help to ID this canoe? It is 17', wood and canvas that has been glassed. The # 1437 is stamped on the 8th rib at both ends. Also it has a keel. Was told it was bought 40 years ago used. I appreciate any and all help.
