I recently purchased a partially complete 16ft redwood strip canoe & unfortunately it had no plans. It apparantley was constructed using the plans fro a Popular Science available blueprint ( no longer available). The article was in a 1967 issue & was titled "Redwood Canoe You Can Build". If anybody knows how I can get a copy of the original blueprints it would be very much appreciated. The hull is finished , redwood strips, 7 ribs & has been roughly glassed. I will need to strip & refinish, but more importantly the gunwales, seats, etc must be installed. we have all the tools, a few skills but unfortunately not a lot of knowledge in canoe building. I do have several photos which can e emailed at request. Thanks for any advise
