old poling paddles

    i found these at a garage sale. the man was an old duck hunter /trapper and he used them alot, he said he received the older one from a man who trapped back in the 20-30's. he thought it might be over 100 yrs old.the newer one was made by him in the 50's. the old er one is 11' i've never seen any poles like these with blades on the end and the shoe on one. the detail work on the older pole is very well done.

    Oh no.

    That one is new. Only used it a couple times. A cast bronze shoe on a closet rod. The one I was thiniking of is 12' or so, and painted battleship gray. It has a blade with metal tip covering and a T handle. It is old.
