Looking for build sheets for 3 canoes

Canoe nut
A friend of mine's father is looking to thin his herd of canoes (he is in the Albany, NY area) and is looking for build sheets for the following - all of which he believes to be Old Town:

115368 17 AA grade
87055 18
131345 16 - possibly 134345 or 137345 CS grade

Thank you,
Russ

The Old Town canoe with serial number 115368 is a 17 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, HW (Heavy Water) model with western red cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, a keel, and sponsons. It was built between January, 1935 and July, 1936. The original exterior paint color was burnt orange. It shipped on July 15th, 1936 to Albany, New York.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 87055 is an 18 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Otca model with western red cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, mahogany thwarts, mahogany seats, a keel, and sponsons. It was built between February. 1925 and June, 1926. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on July 2nd, 1926 to Niverville, New York.

My guess is that he has the Old Town canoe with serial number 134345. This is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, HW (heavy water) model with open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, a keel, a floor rack, and sponsons. It was built between December, 1941 and April, 1942. The original exterior paint color was similar to the one shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/design47.gif which was known as the design number 47. It shipped on May 5th, 1942 to Towanda, Pennsylvania.

Scans showing all of the build records you listed can be found by following the links at the attached thumbnail images below. These scans were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/records/ if you want more details. I hope that you will join or contribute to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See https://www.woodencanoe.org/about to learn more about the WCHA and https://www.woodencanoe.org/shop to donate or join.

It is also possible that he could have other numbers or manufacturers if these descriptions don't match the canoes. Please attach pictures of the numbers from both ends of any that you still aren't sure about. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions. Good luck with the thinning,

Benson
