Excited to have just recently purchased an old town wahoo canoe. The previous owner received it w/o any sailing rigging and sold it to me with 2 Daggerboards and the Aluminum Rudder Assembly.
Upon closer inspection and cleaning I noticed that the Rudder Assembly has a combination of different bolts and nuts and after research, learned original came with brass fittings. My plan is to get this boat back to sailing condition in the next 6 weeks, at least thats my goal, before fall classes start.
I can't wait to learn and experience the history of canoe sailing, look forward talking to ya'll
