The Old Town canoe with serial number 148832 is an 18 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, square ended paddling model with a rowing seat, red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, spruce thwarts, spruce seats, half ribs, a keel, an outside stem, sponsons, rowlocks, and a painter ring. It was built between May and July, 1947. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on July 19th, 1947 to Woodland, Maine.
