Sadie dog and I went a Sauntering today, like at least one famous Concordian in the past. We visited some local conservation land in search of William Brewster's boathouse. William Brewster was an accomplished ornithologist here at the turn of the last century.

Reportedly, he kept a Rushton sailing canoe in this boathouse that he used on expeditions down the adjacent Concord River. I will see if I can dig around and find a photo of his beloved canoe.
