Who hid my paddle?
I looked at a w/c canoe. Profile is like a Hiawatha. Ribs are very narrow and widely spaced similar to an earlier post of a late Hiawatha EXCEPT it had no half ribs and no stringers. Decks were gone so no clue there. Two thwarts were not shaped but look original. the seats had no sign of holes or a groove and were webbed with folding chair webbing, they may have had mortises for slats but I couldn't tell. Both seats were fastened via cleats. And the cleats look like inwale cut offs. I got three camera phone photos but they're not much help. 6274 is on the stem.

I don't recall any holes in the inwales where a threaded rod would be ala Shell Lake. But the inwale ends are dust.

So, could this be a late Thompson Hiawatha without half ribs. Ever see seats on cleats? And I am not sure how the planks are laying. Perhaps someone can tell by a photo.
