LOVES Wooden Canoes
The seventh THOMPSON ANTIQUE & CLASSIC BOAT RALLY takes place 25 June 2011. Location is Nestegg Marine, 300 Wells Street in Marinette, WI 54143. This is right next door to Marinette Marine Corporation which is currently building US Navy warships.
The Rally is open to any and all watercraft no matter the builder, model, size, propulsion and construction materials. It is focused upon Thompson Boat and all her various spin offs: Thompson Boat of New York; Thompson Royal-Craft: Thompson by Chris-Crfat; T & T Boats; Cruisers, Inc; Grady-White Boats; etc...
NO judging and NO awards.
In-water boat parade at 16:00 Saturday 25 June (weather permitting) down Menominee River into the waters of Lake Michigan's Green Bay to the Menominee Marina and back.
Free and open to the public.
$20.00 fee to dsiplay a watercraft.
Fun event with plenty of time to make friends, network, learn about restoraiton, chat with the guys that built the boats....
