The Kennebec canoe with serial number 16937 is a 17 foot long Kennebec model type 2A as shown on page 199 of volume three in the Kennebec ledgers. It was planked by F. Roy on November 25th, 1922. The canvas covering was applied by Tuttle on December 9th, 1922. The first filler coat was applied by Grant on the same day. The second filler coat was applied by Thibodeau on the same day. The rails were added by Mansell on April 3rd, 1926. The original color was green. It shipped to location "26-186" on April 3rd, 1926. This location is probably an order number but we don't currently have enough information to identify it.
