Old Town 79307 is a 25 foot CS (common sense, or middle) grade war canoe with red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, 30 inch birch decks, a keel, outside stems, and a floor rack. It was completed June and July of 1923 and was originally painted dark green. It shipped to Weirs, NH, on May 31, 1924.
Old Town 153040 is a 16 foot CS grade Yankee model canoe with red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, and a keel. It was completed June and July of 1949 and shipped February 28, 1950, to Pompton Plains, NJ.

My experience has been that the build sheets are accurate, and if your canoe has open gunwales and the record indicates otherwise, we may need to look for a different record... or someone modified the canoe.
