Basically, it's worth what someone's willing to pay for it. Condition and rarity are factors, of course.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 152999 is an 18 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales and a keel. It was built between June and August, 1949. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped in June 12th, 1951 to Grayling, Michigan. There was a previous request for a copy of this build record from Flint, Michigan as shown on the back side of this record. Scans showing both sides of this build record can be found by following the links at the attached thumbnail images below.
These scans and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.
