The Old Town canoe with serial number 111989 is a 17 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, HW (Heavy Water) model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, a keel, and bow eyes. It was built between January and March, 1933. The original exterior paint color was medium red. It shipped on March 20th, 1933 to New York City.
