Welcome and congratulations, the Old Town canoe with serial number 123659 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, HW (heavy water) model with open spruce gunwales, a keel, and outside stems. It was built between November, 1937 and May, 1938. The original exterior paint color was dark green It shipped on June 20th, 1939 to Ashland, New Hampshire.
The Old Town canoe with serial number 31133 is a 17 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, half ribs, a keel, outside stems, and twenty inch decks. It was built between February and April, 1914. The original exterior paint color was maroon. It shipped on April 22nd, 1914 to Dayton, Ohio.
