Revelstoke unveiled

Hi,
This past weekend we had a grand time in Revelstoke with Dan and Cheryl Boles. We paddled on Lake Revelstoke, enjoying all the stunning scenery. Spent a good part of the afternoon pulled up on one of Dan and Cheryl's favorite spots. In the photos you can see we spent a good amount of time lounging, and watching Dan solo and practice his poling.

A truly awesome adventure ;)

Great pictures Larry. I've been to Whistler 3 times but never to that part of BC. I always thought that Revelstoke would make a great name for a castle or an estate.

Whether there is an estate or castle.I do not know. But Revelstoke was the titled name of Edward Charles Baring. He underwrote a loan to help finance the final construction of the CPR in the mid 1880's.Try a google search on my little town sometime.
