Need to clean up my inwales and some other areas. Sanding does some, but I would like to get them as close to new as possible before refinishing. A fair amount of weathering has occurred and they are of a grayish tone. White Ash. Is there anyway to renew these? Also, Oil? or Varnish?... I know there are many opinions. I am thinking oil for the Gunwales(outer will be new) and varnish for inside hull.
