That’s awesome, Bill! Looking forward to seeing more pictures when you can. If you need any help identifying it or tips on restoration, feel free to ask—lots of knowledgeable folks here. Good luck with the pickup!

Picked this boat up today, took 4 of us to get it done from the 2nd floor of the barn, things I do. No serial # found on stem, no tags, plate etc.
I noticed it is a closed gunwale design. The inwale is chamfered and the ribs are tapered to paper thin, see picture #5. Outside stems and 2 layers of canvas. Looks like someone put a new canvas over the old and added a second gunwale to fasten it. Center seat is missing as is 1 oar lock.
14' long and 42" wide.

My guess is that it might be a Carleton from before 1912. These were listed in their catalogs from 1905 to 1912 as shown below. Nice find,

I took out one the floor boards today, the ribs where your feet would go are very worn. So I would guess that they were added much later. Interior is painted gray, ribs are 2 3/4" wide and taper to 1 1/4" at the tips and spaced 1 1/2".
