Patent swivel oarlocks needed - bases only

Does anyone out there have a pair of patent swivel oarlock BASES lying around? Given that oarlock horns often get misplaced and sponsons often get removed from canoes, I'm hoping there might be a lone;y pair pf bases out there somewhere. The Old Town I'm working on has its sponsons, the wooden blocks that mount to them, and the horns, but somehow the previous owner removed and lost the bases. Thanks for any possibilities!

I had a similar issue many years ago with bases but no horns. I was surprised to learn that the posts and holes are not a standard size so it took quite a while to find a set that matched. Good luck,

I've seen the same thing. Hoping I can find a pair of bases that these horns will fit with. Hate to just have the horns sitting on a shelf forever.

They could be easily reamed out or add bushings! Let me know if I can help you out. I have a lathe as well as a mill…..

matching up a pair of orphan bases can be tough. I went through several and found a pair. And even then, there was something about them I didn’t like.
It’s more than just the post and socket as Chris mentions. It’s matching the flanged piece on the horn with the base as well.
Save yourself some trouble and purchase matched set.
I may have a set, but I’m out of town until late Friday. I can check when I get back.
