Hi, Looking for build record for Old Town 147687 should be a 16 footer, thanks

The Old Town canoe with serial number 147687 is a 12 foot long square stern so that isn't a good match. My guess is that you may have the one with serial number 147637. This is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Yankee model with white Maine cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, a keel, and a floor rack. It was built between February and March, 1947. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on May 10th, 1947 to Green Bay, Wisconsin. A scan showing this build record can be found below.
This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. Does not seem to be it, not AA, so maybe 147688 or looking at it more closely, more like 147682

This is a 16 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Yankee model with spruce planking, open pine gunwales, and a keel. It was built between February and March, 1947. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on April 11th, 1947 to Portland, Oregon. A scan showing this build record can be found below.
