Old Town Serial # Search probable 155905

The Old Town canoe with serial number 5905 is 16 feet long so that isn't a good match. The one with number 155905 is an 18 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Guide model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, and a keel. It was built between May and September, 1951. The original exterior paint color was G. S. (Guide's Special) green. It shipped on December 7th, 1951 to Chicago, Illinois.
