I think (may be wrong) the scanned records that are available only go to SN210,000, so this info may not be available through our database. Check out http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.htm, which can lead you to more info about this canoe. Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

Hi Cecil. Actually, the scanned records go to 210999, so I have the record for 210560. It's an 18 foot Chipewyan, avocado in color, weighing 76 pounds and sporting an aluminum insert. It was shipped to Shorlines South and Orvis in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, on December 9, 1975.

Paul, the scanned records go up to 241999.
Cecil, the Old Town canoe with serial number 210560 is shown as an 18 feet long Chipewyan built in November 1975, with an aluminum insert as extra equipment, with the original exterior color being avocado, and weighing 76 pounds. It was shipped to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on December 9, 1975. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link behind the thumbnail images attached below.

That's the HIN, or Hull Identification Number... your canoe's serial number is part of that. The HIN provides a code indicating the manufacturer and approximate year of manufacture. Because you have the build record for your canoe, the HIN doesn't add to the information you already have, as far as I can tell.
