Old Town Serial Number Search

You may not be able to help since the old canoe I purchased in not wood, but perhaps someone can help with the serial number. It is an Old Town Discovery 174 and the Serial Number is XTC38815C696. This serial number is different from the serial numbers listed, perhaps because it is not as old or because it is plastic. Thank you. JohnT
