Welcome and congratulations, the Old Town canoe with serial number 117231 which is an 18 foot long, GS (Guide's Special or utility) grade, Guide's model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, and a keel. It was built between February and June, 1936. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on June 19th, 1936 to Northampton, Massachusetts.
