The Old Town canoe with serial number 171614 is shown as a 16 feet long Otca model fitted with a keel. The canoe was built in 1961-62, being finished on January 18, 1962. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped to Torrington, Conn. on May 23, 1962.
