Old Town emblem

I picked up a couple of these Old Town emblems recently. What boats were they used on? I have a 13'6" lapstrake runnabout with white emblems, not yellow.

These were used on the lapstrake models and first appeared in the 1958 catalog. They came in two sizes as shown below. The serial number from your boat can be used to determine the year. Let me know if this doesn't answer your question. Nice find,

Thanks, Benson. Did they also make white ones? (white plastic with black)? Maybe they were a later reproduction?

Just realized that my boat is a 1953 model. The emblems must have been added later.

Your boat is shown on page 25 of the 1953 catalog at https://www.woodencanoe.org/_files/ugd/537308_65768c2094dd407595470d31db6742fd.pdf with no nameplates on the outside. I believe that the yellow nameplates will fade to white when left in the sun long enough.
