Old Town colors

Is the color for this boat as indicated on the Old Town build sheet, "Red" or does that little squiggle before the Red indicate its a "Dark Red" or something else?

I would interpret that to be dark red.

I agree with Dan that this canoe was probably dark red originally. Dark green canoes often have a similar notation.
