Old Town Charles River stem curve

I am working on a 1908 16’ Old Town Charles River with double gunwales. I am not able to determine the original stem curve. Is the curve on this canoe the same as my 1914 17’ Old Town Charles River closed gunwale? Stems on both canoes measure approx 7/8” square at the numbers.

My guess is that both of these stems were originally bent on the same form. The pictures of my 1907 Charles River model with double mahogany gunwales at http://forums.wcha.org/showpost.php?p=19415&postcount=3 may help confirm this.
