Welcome and congratulations, the Old Town canoe with serial number 190427 is a 16 foot long fiberglass Carleton model with a keel that weighed 79 pounds. It was built in June, 1972. The original exterior gelcoat color was yellow. It shipped on June 20th, 1972 to Whitney Point, New York. The back side of this record shows that there was a patch on the left side of the bow end. Scans showing both sides of this build record can be found below.
These scans and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
