The canoe you inquire about is a 16' Yankee in CS (common sense) grade built with spruce gunwales, ash seats, thwarts and decks. It also had several options as half ribs, oval rails, outside stems and keel. It was shipped on May 24, 1940 to East Hadden, CT., and the original color was dark green. Build record is attached.
