This is a sailing canoe my wife purchased some years back. We're considering selling it and would like to know it's history.

Old Town Canoe Serial Number 183601 15

The Old Town canoe with serial number 183601 is a 15 foot long lightweight model with a keel, mast seat, 55 square foot sail, and rudder. It was built between July and December, 1969. The original exterior paint color is shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/design04.gif and was known as the design number four. It shipped on March 31st, 1970 to Burbank, Calif. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.
