Old Town 84152

The Old Town canoe with serial number 84152 is an 18 foot long, AA (or top) grade, HW model with open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, mahogany thwarts, mahogany seats, a keel, a floor rack, sponsons, two number one spruce paddles that were four feet, six inches long, and two double wide mahogany slat backs. It was built between March, 1924 and April, 1925. The original exterior paint color was dark green with a brilliant green border stripe with turned down ends and a 3/4 inch gold stripe with turned down ends. The name Fern Cliff Camp was lettered in gold on the right bow. It shipped on April 21st, 1925 to Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. A scan showing this build record can be found below.
