Hi Dave,
Your canoe is an 18' Guide Special Grade, guide canoe model with western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales and birch decks, thwarts and seats.It was equipped with a keel and floor rack and painted blue ( not sure of the shade). There is also another line on the build record that I can't make out. It was built in 1927 and sold to Camp Sunapee in New Hampshire.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.
