Old Town 127604 Information Request

The Old Town canoe with serial number 127604 is a 17 feet long, CS (common sense or standard) grade HW (heavy water) model equipped with half ribs and a keel. The canoe was built between May 1939 and June 1940. The original exterior paint was dark green. It was shipped to Preston, Maryland on March, 1941. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
