The Old Town canoe with serial number 114749 is a 17 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Otca model with western red cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, birch decks, birch thwarts, birch seats, and a keel. It was built between November, 1934 and February, 1935. The original exterior paint color was fire red. It shipped on March 21st, 1935 to Seattle, Washington.
