Hi Craig and Connor,
Old Town 104935 is a 16 foot CS (common sense, or middle) grade Otca model canoe that was completed February-July of 1930. It has Western red cedar planking and open spruce gunwales. Wood species of decks/thwarts/seat frames isn't specified on the record, but in CS grade is any hardwood but mahogany--- commonly ash, birch, or maple. The canoe has a keel and outside stems and was originally painted maroon. It was shipped to Anchor Sporting Goods in New York (I assume NYC, as city isn't specified) on July 14, 1930. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
